"Worship the Lord your God and serve only Him." - Matthew 4:10
The Worship purpose is a spiritually-based, administrative umbrella for all worship ministries. Worship represents the front line of Bethel Church, seeking to facilitate corporate worship meetings that encourage individual relationship development with God and help usher people into the transforming presence of God.
"So in Christ we who are many from one body, and each member belongs to all the others." -Romans 12:5
The Fellowship purpose mission is to connect our Bethel Church members to each other and with the larger community. Our
vision is that our members become bonded together in such a way that they love each other, are in constant prayer for each other, empower each other, encourage each other and minister to each other. This will lead all of us to the knowledge and the feeling that we are one body in Christ Jesus and belong to him first of all and then to each other.
Comfort and Care
A new commandment I give you. You must love one another, just as I have loved you. If you love one another, everyone will know you are my disciples." - John 13:34-35
The Comfort and Care Ministry provides support for the Bethel family who are dealing with an illness, or facing the loss of a loved one. As believers in a risen Savior, we are compelled to demonstrate to one another the love that God has shown us through Jesus Christ within the community of faith.
Each of you has been blessed with one of God's many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gifts well. -I Peter 4:10
The Service purpose seeks to help members learn about how God has uniquely designed and shaped each individual to minister in specific ways. Whether it be through volunteerism or leadership, we believe that everyone has a gift, and with it comes privilege and responsibility. Our goal is to assist you with discovering the habits that lead to understanding your gift area; thereby, empowering you to use your talents, not only for personal goals but to uplift the Body of Christ and the community.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." Matthew 28:19-20.
The Evangelism purpose is to promote spreading the Gospel to family, friends, community, and the world with the expectation of winning souls for Christ and growing our church. The Evangelism mission is to evangelize to the un-churched and un-saved.
"Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true." - Acts 17:11
The Discipleship purpose exists to help people be more like Christ in their thoughts, feelings and actions. The Discipleship vision is to facilitate the spiritual growth of every member of the church moving from new birth to maturity in Christ.
The Discipleship ministry strives to provide appropriate instructors for every member of the church family by adhering to the following principles: Encouraging personal bible reading and study. Insisting on the responsible interpretation of scripture. Providing specialized classes based on age, gender, marital/partner status, etc.
